Another New One
Greetings
I've been reading posts for a while now, but I don't think I ever posted a self-introduction. If I did, I apologize. But if I didn't, here goes. . . We have six birds. Clayton - a Sun Conure Kelly - a Quaker Angel - a Goffin Bailey - an African Grey Crispian (Crispy) - a Cockatoo Ferguson (Fergy) - a Blue & Gold Macaw They are really part of the family and have been through a lot with us including a recent house fire. They all came out of it in good shape. We are now living in a nearby condo and they are handling things like the little pros that they are! I pretty much take care of them. I am partially paralyzed on one side of my body so there are some things I can't do but for the most part they are very cooperative. I am looking forward to posting their photos just as soon as I am back in my home. I'm also looking forward to learning more about all of your birdie-buddies. Kathleen

Sounds like your family has been through quite a lot. A fire is my WORST nightmare. How ever did you get them all out? I can't imagine, especially with such a disability. I'm certain that's quite a tale.

Welcome & I'm glad everyone is ok after the fire. That is one of my worst nightmares also. I live in a town house and apartment complex. A few weeks ago I was home from work, I had a flu bug or something & all of a sudden my hubby comes running in the room & yells "hurry come outside the apts are on fire!" I about fainted. I started grabbing the dogs & was going for the fids when he said "what the heck are you doing" I told him what do you mean. He said our house isn't on fire, its the other building.
 I felt kinda stupid but from how he said it, it sounded like he meant the house was on fire. 5 apts burned down. All the people got out except for a guys little ****zu. The guy said he didn't have time to get him out.  I don't know how you got everyone out but I'm glad you did. It would take more then one person to get all my babies out. Best of luck to you. Crystal
