Greetings
I am new here. I used to post to another well-known bird forum but there was little to no activity. Users were sparse and some posts sat for months without a new one being added.
I currently own a blue pacific parrotlet. I have owned parrotlets in the past and have wanted one again after many years without any. So I got my little BB recently. He is a wonderful bird with a great temperment. He is very content to play in his cage but likes to come out and sit on me or his play gym. I work two jobs but I make sure he spends at least one hour every single day out with me. There is one thing though. My other parrotlets loved to have their heads scratched (male and female) but this guy is very suspicious of my finger and won't permit me to pet or scratch his head. He either tries to bite OR will fly off. Any suggestions? Or should I just leave him be?? ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by BB'smom; 10-19-2006 at 01:28 AM. |

Welcome to BB... My BF is looking into getting a Parrotlet. Can't wait. I have a greencheek conure and he loves loves loves to be scratched - not by everyone though. I think Crystal is right (as she often is) that he just needs more time
