Another newbie from Arizona
Hello -
I found this forum searching the web for bird food recipes Currently my husband and I own one Yellow Nape Amazon (Maynard), two Welsh Corgie's (Sadie and Mandy), one cat (Tyrone) and some laying hens. We used to raise AQHA/NFQHA horses but as of this past spring we sold most of our breeding stock and just kept two AQHA/NFQHA mares, one in foal for March 2007. I've been reading quite a few of the threads on this board and have found them very informational so I decided to introduce myself and join the group ![]() |

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I've attached a pic of Maynard, hope the file size isn't too large. I have several pictures of all our animals listed on our website for those of you who wish to view

I love Quarter horses!
They are so muscular & the best for hare-back riding – I dislike saddles of all kinds. My brother had one named 'Silk Handkerchief' [an American mare] - she was a chestnut with white socks & blaze - a beautiful face. Your horses are wonderful.Beautiful bird too. Thanks for sharing - do you have some stories to tell as well? |

Do you house your birds outside full time? Maynard stays outside full time but is under our covered patio that is equipped with a mist system and ceiling fans for those hot summer months. |
