HI Just wanted to introduce myself

My name is Laura, and I am owned by a 1 year old sun conure named Kiki. I call her "ribbit," because she "ribbits" just like a frog. . . . she really thinks she is one :). She greets the day, and everyone she meets with a "ribbit", and when you ask her if she is a frog she says "no bird." She also enjoys sitting on the window sill and "ribbiting" to the birds outside. She is a riot. She screams like most suns. . . very high pitched, but she is so cute and funny that it is all worth it!! I adopted her just 3 months ago, from someone who had had her for 6 months and decided that her high pitched screams were too loud and annoying for them. This is my first parrot type bird (I had a parakeet. . . when I was young). So I am very new at all this, and appreciate any and all suggestions!!!!
As for me, I am a graduate student in clinical lab science - pathology, and am hoping to get a vet tech job. . . to help pay my way through grad school :o.
