New from Central California!

Hello everyone, My name is Gene Smith, and I am a 20 year old Vocal performance Majour with a double Majour in American Sign Language Interpreting at California State University, Fresno.
I'm actually from the Monterey area, where my mother introduced me to lovebirds. They were amazing animals. She also got 2 Cockatiels, and I've wanted bigger Birds ever since.
My current goal is an Eclectus. It will be a while however, before I can afford one, being a poor college student and all! (perhaps i should set up a donation site?? lol)
I'm also kinda warming up to a Sun Conure, I just help rehome one to one of my Fraternity Brothers, and have fallen a bit for the little guy.
I want a Parrot for a companion for myself and my Fiancee, Sara. We actually just checked out a lady with a greek cheek and a half moon conure, but they were too agressive and Sara wouldnt even touch them, so unfourtunately, no go on that.
What I am looking for out of this site is help with knowledge, and info on breeders if at all available.
Thanks a lot, and looking foward to learning!
-Gene

Hi Justin, I've actually visited your site a number of times while searching for an Eclectus, but under the "meet our breeders" section, you dont have anything under your Ekkies!!! I'd really love to know more about them. Also, how often do they lay?
