Question

I have a Cockatiel, and I would like to get a Jandaya conure. Would it be ok to house the two in my room in two sep. cages, and let play together when i'm watching?

Oh, and btw i'm new at this :P

Thanks

Re: Question

Welcome to the board!!! As for the two birds it's hard to say if they will get along with each other or not you have to introduce them and see how their going to react. When the birds are out there should always be supervision. Thanks for posting a question, if you have any more there's always someone here that can help.

Re: Question

I agree same room separate cages,(after a quarantine period). Even if you think they get along it only takes a second for a fight to start and then the Jenday could seriously injure your' tiel. always do monitored play times and not in a cage, do it in neutral territories so no one feels territorial.
