Hello from Florida
Hello to all from rainy (ATM) Florida
My name is Lynn and I live in Central Florida with my human and not human family. For the humans you have my husband and his 4 teenage children. For the not human we have 2 birds. A 9 year old Miligold Macaw named Bascha and a 15 year old White Eyed Conure named Max. Then we can go to the 2 dogs. An American Eskimo named Chaos and a Beagle named Sophie. Then 3 mixed breed cats. Katriana, K.C., and Patches. Finally to round out the list we have 3 SW fish tanks. One 125g reef tank, a 24g seahorse tank, and a20g misc tank. Just found this forum (through the SW forum I frequent) and figured I would say hi to everybody. I look forward to chatting with you all about my feathered friends. |

Re: Hello from Florida
Hi Kstorc
Welcome to our crazy mixed aviary, kennel, reptile and aqua land and whatever else people can find. There's lots of people here, some sane and some that're a little left of left field if you know what I mean. Jason is the site owner and tries to stay in center field. Unfortunately, we also have a moderator here named Donna who has sadly left the ball park entirely. PS---I need a favor.........please let me borrow your eskimo dog cause here in PA we now have 27 in. of snow and it still hasn't stopped. We're snowed in. You lend me the dog and I'll get the sled------Dave |

Re: Hello from Florida
Sounds like a fun group. Nobody has ever made the mistake of calling me sane.
Of course you may borrrow my Eskimo, but by the time he gets there the snow would probably melt. Can you believe I have never made a snowman or been on a sled? Make one for me since you have all of that snow. We just get rain and more rain here. Actually it is supposed to freeze here tonight. I have to bring my birds inside the house. They usually stay on our screen porch which is normally the center of activity in the house. Can't leave them out tonight though. Too cold for my babies and for me. Peace Lynn |

Re: Hello from Florida
Welcome Lynn. Glad to see you found your way here. I ran into Lynn on a saltwater forum, she has been a lot of help to me getting my salt tank back in line. Hopefully I can return the favor here!

Re: Hello from Florida
Hi Lynn!
Fancy meeting you here! I guess that your' American Eskimo lives a pretty easy life in florida (not much snow for the dog sled)! I knew about your' birds, but I didn't realize that you had such a large "Family"/"FlocK"/"School" at home. Regards' Dean |
