Hello all!
I'm Meandean45, another Bird/Fish person found by Jason on "Reef Sanctuary". Our "Flock" (or "Family") is made up of the wife and I, Sadie, a female Solomon Islands Eclectus, Toby, a male Goffins Cockatoo, Sugar and Chester, female and male Cockatiels, Junior and Ginger, male and female Zebra Finches, and Lovey, a female Lady Gouldian Finch. We keep a reef tank too, and are setting up a 125 gallon FOWLR tank as well.
Obviously the wife and I are "Empty Nesters", and now have surrogate "children" to keep us from being alone too much. I freely admit to being a "soft touch" when it comes to birds and fish, and while she doesn't admit it, the wife is too. So, what's the rumpus at this outfit? Any other "Loons" out there?

Welcome Dean! I'm starting to feel like I am recruting from the other site! lol. Really though, its a great site, and has helped me out a lot in my saltwater adventure. Anyone interested in checking it out should.. http://www.reefsanctuary.com . Its set up a lot like our site.. Welcome again Dean!

It looks like another great place to visit! I'm assuming that this is a relatively "new" site, and I'm pleased to be getting in on the ground floor. The folks at RS have never been known to be upset about "recruiting", even for another reef site, so I certainly dont think that this one will bother them Jason. In fact, You should consider asking about trading "Links" with them, as it might be good for users of both sites.You made the observation yourself that an awful lot of bird people are fish people too! ;D Checked out a couple of forums yesterday, and enjoyed them all. Will do it again today. Thanks again!
