Hi to have you join us. There's lots of different species of birds here as well as the people who own them. ;) Donna, our moderator, just got a baby TOO a few weeks ago and it's doing great. She posted pics of it. Most of the people here each own a few birds. I also have african greys--1 congo, 1 timneh and 1 more congo that I may be getting on tuesday. It's a male and 4 yrs old.
It's in bad shape feather wise. My wife and I talked about it and we may decide to bring the bird home. Big decision for us. I normally wouldn't do this but the man that owns the bird works 6 days a week, is unmarried, has no one else living there so he can't give the bird much attention. The bird is alone all day and it seems to take out it's frustration and stress on his own body. Doesn't get a good diet either. So, wish me luck if I get it :-\--Have a good time here.

PS--I'm familiar with another board in the UK but it hasn't had any success over the last 1 1/2. It used to be a very busy place.
