Hi my name is Dancelady, and I have five lovebirds and 5 eggs. The mated two have produced all the offspring -- 3 chicks (9 wks) and the eggs. I've only had lovies about 3 months. So I need lots of help! Mainly, I need help with training them, since the parents fed and raised the babies, and I haven't been able to tame them. Any assistance would be appreciated!!

Red face

Hi, I'm Marilyn from St. Augustine, Florida. My hubby and I wrapped around the little talons of our Black Headed Caique, Green Cheeked Conure, and Pearled Cockatiel. My world revolves around them! I just joined the BirdBoard and could spend all day here! This is a great site. Welcome you other new members!

From RoscoesMom - I don't know if this is where I am supposed to type or not, but just in case. Hi. Roscoe is a 20-year-old blue&gold macaw I have had since infanthood (his, not mine). He/she cannot fly but is very talented otherwise.

Smile Love all those whom love birds :)

Hi to all my bird loving friends I live in Southern California. I find it entertaining to know I'm not the only person whom loves my baby so much. I always try to describe to my friends and family my relationship with my bird, but until someone has experienced it, they'll look at you like you said you'd seen a UFO..... LOL...
I have a clown of a jenday conure. She is almost 2 and is my everything. She says love you, what r u doing, peek a boo, she makes kiss noises, she makes a hilarious "argh, argh, argh, argh" noice, she throws her head and goes "Woa!" She's learned to bob her head when I say dance (but only on her perch in the shower). She shows me her wing when she wants something, and speaks mostly when she's upstairs in her cage and wants me to come get her. She's a con artist, that's for sure. She has a cage upstairs, a perch downstairs, a cage in the backyard, and a cage on my upstairs porch. Definately is usually always with me.

Anyways, again, Hello! Look forward to reading about everyones lil ones.

Hello fellow bird brained avian fans! :)

I'm new to this forum and new to bird ownership as well! I had budgies and a 'tiel when I was growing up but they were all family pets. Now I am the proud mom of a male green pacific parrotlet named Bonsai!

Great site, can't wait to explore and talk with others!! :)

PS. Also, I am from Trenton, Ontario, Canada... moving to Windsor in the summer. Would be nice to meet people on here in the same areas!
