I have two tiel male and female, I had them foar about 1 month and thery are about 7 months, I took them for their first vet visit last week and had the wings clipped. They still seem to fly too wild and into the wall. I don't think the vet clipped enough wings he left the first 5 on each side.

This morning I noticed that the male was sitting in the water dish and the female was standing on his back is this normal?

The male is not friendly at all he will not get in my hand to eat he will not camenear me he willeat from my fingertips between the cage bars what is wrong?

I need help!!!

My name is Valerie and I thought I would take the time to introduce myself. I am a single mom of 4 human kids. My boys are 19, 18, and 15 years old. My daughter is 3 years old. We have lots of companion animals, and quite often, fosters of various kinds. Birdwise, we have Angel(Goffin Cockatoo), Max(Blue crowned Conure), and Mom and Dad(pair of Zebra Finches) that are all rescues. We recently added 2 pairs of Gouldian Finches that have not been named yet. I am hoping to share knowledge and make some friends here!

Hi, my name is Jen and I'm from Texas. I don't have any birds currently, but I do have two dogs and a cat, with plans for a budgie and a horse in the future! In the meantime, I get a lot of enjoyment from watching the birds at the feeder.

I used to have a blue male budgie, Smartie, and a cinnamon pearl female cockatiel, Kirby.

Hello, my name is Beach and I am owned by a rescued 5 year-old male green cheek conure called Wookie, a cat adopted right from the street who has been with us for ten or eleven years now, a seven year-old Brazilian Rainbow Boa who is just a sweetiepie and a one year-old St. Bernard mix. I am always on the lookout for good bird forums and happened across this place.

gdday im shelly from australia. we have 8 adult rainbows, 1 adolesant rainbow, one 2 weeks old baby lori, 7 adult scalys, 1 jade scaly and her mate is an olive scaly, we have 1 olive rainbow and her mate is an olive red collar lori, we have breeding pair of musks, another 2 rainbows, and 2 baby scalys , lol oh and a galah i thinks thats it hard to count them lol. we are getting 2 breeding pair of purple crowns in about a month too from a breeder/good friend of ours that has about 1000 birds i reckon and he is in the australian avian bird society and the hunter one too, oh i forgot the witch bird my red collar rainbow who loves to come out her cage all the time lol
