Pooka, my CAG and I are brand new members. Love the BirdBoard and Pooka and me are planning to stay as long as you will have us! LOL.

We live in a small town caled Northam in sunny South Africa. Its a mining town with not a lot to do!

Looking forward to hear from other bird maniacs like myself.

Hello everyone, Just wanted to say hello and ask right off the bat ask for your patience because not only am I new to birds but I am new to forums and have never been apart of one.

I got a Quaker Friday morning and we are trying him around my 2 daughters for the week. The woman that is trying to find a home said if it didnt work out with him and my children to bring him back. Its been ok the last 2 days he lets them hold him but doesnt want them to pet him while they are holding him so thats when he bites. He already has my heart tho!

A little about us we live in South Carolina we have 2 beautiful daughters Kelsea 7 and Kaleigh 4 and a cat Shelby. The new possible addition to our family is Boris a 2 yr old Quaker. I am a stay at home mama and nursing student, and my husband works full time.

Hello All,
I have 2 parakeets and a new baby cockiel, 6 wks old, we got him at 5 wks. Jasper has already learned 'step-up' and is so cute doing it, takes a few seconds to get the second leg up !
Started doing research on Eclektus to see if she would fit into our family, love to read your input if you own one of these beautiful birds.

Hi everyone! So glad I found this board. Everyone seems intelligent and kind. I live near Fort Worth, Texas with my fiance and I am a psych student. I am also a pet rescue advocate. We have two male lovebirds, one female rosy bourke grasskeet, and a breeding pair (retired), of scarlet chested grasskeets. We also have two mins pins, a beagle and a Siamese cat. :D Here are a few pics and I hope to talk to you guys more!

Hi everyone...i'm re-introducing myself here since its been way too long since i've been on here but i'm glad to be back and i'm looking forward to talking with everyone again! Me and my girlfriend have a 2 1/2 year old Blue-headed Pionus named Pebbles and a 1 year old Green-cheeked Conure named Basil. I'm looking forward to finally being able to get my African Grey by the end of this year or early next year at the latest...been waiting way to long for the right time to finally get a new baby! Haha!

Hello I have had birds since 1980 I started with Ringneck Doves which I still keep in a large flight cage outside. I have 3 Canaries My male is a red factor, one female and one that is not sexed, Lovebird's and 4 Rescued Cockatiel's. Also Zebra Finch I love their little meep meep song. I raised 4 son's.

Hi everyone. My name is Tim and I'm from SLC, Ut. My wife and I just purchased a GCC from a reputalbe pet store 3 weeks ago. We're still waiting to take our bird home caues its still being weaned. We go and visit "it" (Since we don't know the gender) weekly and are so exicted to have it as an addition to our family. My wife and I just got married 2 months ago and wanted a family pet. We've already decided on the name Tiki. I'm excited to be on the forum and to learn from everyone.
