Thanks! Yes, Jitterbug's passing was very traumatic. She was 11 years old or so, I got her when she was 5. She was a beast of a thing, but a great bird and the whole flock here is devastated by the loss. We are taking more preventative measures so we don't lose anymore birds to my female Caique, but it has been rough. The new Lovebird I got is in love with my male Caique so he has to be locked up during the day when I am gone. Jitterbug had been rooming with another female and now she wants in the Caique nestbox so she is locked up as well. They hate it, but I'd rather have them mad at me then end up like Jitterbug :(
