Hello from New Jersey
hello,
I am a new owner of a baby Blue and Gold macaw, only about 4-5 months old male. He is very friendly and getting used to me. I almost bought a baby scarlet macaw with him, but the scarlet macaw, also the same age, is always frightened when I come close to her, so she screetches and attacks. Should I decide to buy her, will it be possible to tame her? how long would it take and is it normal for a baby macaw to be this frightened and then come around to be a friendly and tame macaw? how long would it take?
