Post Awk Awk!
Hello bird lovers,
I am a first time friend of a 6 1/2 year old Illigers Mini macaw.
"Boyd" evidently was abused mentally and physically by one or all of its prior three owners.
He is seems to be adjusting quite well to his new home with me, my wife and the four cats.
I will probably visit this site often, at least until I realize I dont own Boyd, Boyd owns me.

I am new here too and adopting a Grey in 2 weeks.

I presently own a Cockatiel and love her to death.

I am glad Boyd found a good home with you.

Welcome to BB! Glad to have you here! I'm sorry to hear that Boyd was abused but I'm glad he now has a forever home. Thank you for taking in an abused bird. Not everyone would do that. This is a wonderful place with very knowledgable people. You have come to the right place.
