Lurker no more!
Hello everyone!
I have been a lurker for a while now because I had problems getting my activation email. Thanks to Keev I am now "official"! Anyway, I am a relatively new to birds but I have to say that it didn't take too long for them to convert me from new bird owner to an old bird puppet! I actually bought Sage (Green Cheeked Conure) for my girlfriend because she had a bird when we met that died  . Anyway, before long I became so attached to the bird (and the bird attached to me) that it became "mine". Subsequently, we bought Pepper (Maroon Bellied Conure) who seems to be content with either or both of us and also gets along most of the time with Sage. Anyhow Thank you for providing such a wealth of information, advice, pictures, and community - I look forward to reading and participating daily! Almost forgot to add pics! Here is Sage (looking in the mirror a few days after I bought her):  And here are both of them together a few days after we brought Pepper home (the first time they really "snuggled"):  Happy Holidays!

Thanks! Someday I will get better picutes. The only ones I have now are taken with my phone so pretty low-rez and don't do them justice at all!
