Hi there, I am new to this sort of thing!!

I am new to this sort of thing and haven't got a clue what I am doing! I am owned by a 10 month old green IRN and he is my first parrokeet. I have had budgies as a child so when my hubby bought me my green feathered friend at first I was a little intimidated by his size, but as I saw he was more afraid of me than I of him I saw him for what he was. A frightened little baby of 4 months. we live in Belfast Northern Ireland.

Welcome! My grandad had an IRN which inspired me to go for an alexandrine. They will be scared for a while but the more time you spend with it the tamer it will become.
