I'm a newbie to this site and I have a 6 month old orange wing amazon named Lila. She is a good bird, although she tends to scream. I'm also a former double yellow head owner, (who by the way did not scream as bad or as loud as my OW) My husband is new to the world of parrots, and is doing quite well adjusting. I looking to start making my own toys and I will being searching some of threads to find some good places to buy supplies. I'm looking forward to diving into the topics.

If your husband is OK with this not so great behavior, you'll be OK.

Hope your new bird settles down.
It reminds me of my Mom's 2 dogs - same breed but 100% different personalities. Let's hope you can get her turned around or redirected - thankfully you have some experience - could you imagine someone like myself with this problem? - I can't.
... Well I'd be asking for help & tips from here probably!
