Finally back on bird board!

I am still the same guy, just a different name, I was peterNJ, now I am peterNJ66. Not very creative really, name is really Peter and I am in NJ, and yes 66 years old. I look alot younger if the room is real dark...like no windows or lamps. Anyway I am glad to be here again.
We have some good news to share...After giving it some deep thought and missing the fun that comes with owning a Caique, I told Elizabeth we will never replace our Tobie (black head Caique), but we should get another Caique. We got lucky at Bird Paradise, Kathy showed us a White Belly caique. It took a very long minute to know we found our newest family member . We were there again today to pay her a visit. She is the cutest most loveable fun loving little girl...and after going over llists of names, we decided that "Candy" is the perfect name for her.
She will be home with us very soon...I wish sooner but the hot water heater broke and had to be replaced. Personally I would rather have Candy here, but hot water becomes important when you take a shower... We have to believe that 2007 will be better for us...Candy sure puts a bright spot for the year to begin.
I do want to thank all the loving emails that came to me after our Tobie left our home, but never our hearts. Bird people are the best people, and Jack, Kathy ,Kathy,and Christine from Bird Paradise are the best friends a person or a bird could have, thank you thank you

Hi Peter! No need to thank us. We are glad we were able to help make you and Elizabeth smile again, although we all shed a ton of tears the first day you came in after Tobie's passing. So we hope that Candy helps fill the void a bit and that Tobie is happy flying free over the Rainbow Bridge. We are also very happy to know that one of our babies is going to such a wonderful home.
