welcome to BB - glad to have you.
hope morgan is better soon - you'll find plenty of people here who've been through ordeals somewhat similar who can help

Ah... excellent question...
There are two possible ways:

To post your pictures on another site and just post a URL link to those pictures here.

Or to upload your pictures directly to the BirdBoard.

Quite often users use the "quick reply" area found at the bottom of the web page. Well next to the "Submit" button is an "Advanced" button. Click on that and you'll come to a "Reply to Thread" page. A quick way to get here, instead of using the Quick Replay box, is click on the big blue "POST REPLY" buttons found in the thread listings at bot the top and bottom LEFT hand side of the page.

Once in the "Replay to Thread" page you'll see an advanced view of many options including "Smilies", bolding and sizing fonts, etc... Below all this, even below the "Submit Reply" button is a set of "Additional options."

You should see a box that says "Attach Files". Click on the button within it that says "Manage Attachments". If you have a pop-up blocker, you may have to temporarily allow pop-ups

A kind of confusing window appears. That has two options. To upload your file or to link to your file that you've uploaded somewhere else.

The top box says "Upload File from you Computer" and has a "Browse" button. Click the browse button and navigate thru your computer to the picture file you wish to upload. Select it and then click Upload. A few moments will pass while you file uploads to the Bird Board. This can take a few minutes depending on your internet connection speeds.

The next box is for Uploading a file from a URL. To use this method, without closing any of the Bird Board windows, open up a new web browser and browse to your pictures. For each of the pictures you have already uploaded, you will need to get the "properties"/URL of those pictures and paste them in these boxes. Once done.. again click Upload.

Once this completes this box will disappear and you will see the filename and such displayed in the "Attach Files" box. Now just go to the very bottom of the page "Additional Options" section and click on "Submit Reply".

Done...

Hope this helps.
