Another New Member!
Hi. My name is Christina. I actually used to post on another parrot message board, but that was more than a year ago and I can't remember the name of it...
Several years ago I decided that I wanted a parrot so I did a lot of reading and saving and joined online groups and finally bought a female CAG. Well...it didn't work out despite all of our efforts and she had to be returned. She just didn't mesh well with our family somehow. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong, but she just seriously hated every person in our household. I was upset and saddened for a long time and haven't even thought of getting any birds in the year or more since. But I can't let that turn me off of them forever especially since I still love them. I am planning on getting a cockatiel sometime in the next few months and plan on adding either another CAG or maybe an eclectus in a few years. My dream has always been to own a B & G macaw, but that would have to wait until I can afford my own full size house (I am living in a small condo now). Anyway, that is the briefest possible version of my story and I am happy to be back reading and talking about birds. Christina Last edited by MiddleEye; 02-19-2007 at 06:28 AM.
