Hi, new to this site. My name is Linda and im bringing home my new
handraised baby Lovebird next Wednesday, im so excited. He/She is
a Dilute Violet Lovebird and is absolutely gorgeous already fallen in love, only spent an hour with him so far, lol. Been racking my brain trying to think of a unique name for him which would suit either a boy or girl, so far im stuck on Sweetpea.

sorry i'm no good with names...people will come around with good ones! there is actually a bird called "sweetpea" (i believe "Birdsnreps" has her?) here on BirdBoard!

Mitchellän, (named used for Major Mitchell by a few local native tribes in Austrialia)

I believe Major Mitchell was an explorer of Australia? Mitchellän I believe is what the local natives call him? I think I read this in a folk lore book from Australia. I could be wrong.

welcome. i got my lovie last year for my birthday! her name is peaches..not very original, but i like it! actually i was going to name her bonnilynn after the 2 friends who bought her for me (bonnie and linda) but thot the name was too long. so i told them that's her middle name..smile...anyway she's a sweetie.
