Welcome to the board, and I hope you learn a lot from all the people who are here. It is sad that you learned the hard way about bird's respiratory systems, but that can happen to good people who don't realize what they are doing. It is great that you have a good appreciation about it, and to help other people who might not be careful. Glad that you now have a new Pineapple Green Cheek, which will give you a wonderful time together. (Watch out for Sadie and Tigger, though). Have a terrific time here!

Sorry to hear about your tiel, my tiel is 17 and i would be so torn up losing him. Nice pineapple though, i really want a pearly/crimson bellied (green cheek) conure. Or a yellow sided...definately one in the Pyrrhura family. Love them, they are my next bird on my list.
