I'm a new member to BirdBoard. My name is Lara. I live in Toledo, Ohio. I'm 33, but not for much longer. I am the proud new mom of a 7 month old Umbrella Cockatoo named Rico, aka, mamma's little bambino.
Happy to be accepted as a member of BirdBoard and I look forward to getting to know everyone and their feathered friends.

Hi Lara! I'm from Cinci, OH. Mom to 3, wife to 1, caretaker to several furry/feathered/finned friends. It's nice to meet you. This is a great resource I've found. I'm fairly new myself. I hope to hear more about Rico as I've always had a secret crush on Umbrella 'too's. They're breathtaking animals and I wish I had the gumption to have one of my own.

Hi There and Welcome from another Newby , this place looks great I am sure we will both enjoy being here ..Will watch out for pictures of your Too , the only Too`s I have here are the wild ones that feed outside on the birdfeeders ..I love them they look so intelligent their eyes are beautiful..I only have 2 little boys Sunny (sun conure) and Buddy ( Quaker)..they do have BIG personalities though........

hi Lara, my name is jean and i'm from cutler, outside of marietta. i have recently gotten a sun conure named Rueben, tomarrow will be two weeks that i have had him. welcome to the birdboard. i just recently joined myself. :eusa_danc

Hello Majj & Boys. Thank you for the welcome. I have a friend who lives in Sydney. I met him over there for the 2000 Olympics. He owns a photo tour business. When I told him I bought a Too he sent me a picture of 10 of them perching in the wild. I look forward to talking with you in the future.
