Cool Greetings from Riverside, CA

New member here. My name is Jerry. I live in Riverside, CA and breed normal green parrotlets and parakeets. My parrotlet breeders where bought as pets 4 years ago. They have 2 clutches every season and they just hatched out a clutch of 7 chicks. I hand feed the parrotlets and band them. My breeders are Maggie and Bambino and I have 2 males from the first clutch that I kept as pets, they are Dinky and Cody, and now the 7 chicks which I am starting to pull.Glad to have found this site. I also belong to the Parrotlet Plus Group on Yahoo. Bird people are good people.
Jerry

Hi,
I forgot all about the bird show, but with pulling chicks and feeds I wouldn't have been able to go.

Thank you. Years ago I wanted a parrot since I was bredding parakeets. Ended up get a male and female parrotlet. They are fascinating birds. This is their 5th clutch. It gets harder everytime to let them go to new homes after hand feeding them for 4 +weeks and playing with each of them as they develop their little personalities.

Yes they are. The chicks grow to fast but enjoy as they develop their personality. Its just so hard to when they go to new homes. My 2 males are the sweetest.
