It wont harm to try the shower, my quaker loves it, why don't you put water in a container and let the female have a dip maybe the male will see this and give it a go also. Somehow getting alone time with the male without the female around might get him used to you, it sounds like he is really atached to the female and it will be hard for him to have anything to do with you while she is in sight, but as I say I am no expert on this.

My female has learned to come to the front of the bottom of the cage when she wants to come out. Usually I will read in front of the cage with the door open and the top open so they can come out. She always comes to the front of the door and flies over to the tip of my knee and stays there and preens herself. She likes spending time with me. Now she will pace back and forth in front of the door until I come over and let her out. Not sure if this is a good thing to be teaching her but I think it is cute. Should I keep letting her out when she paces back and forth there or not? The male was singing a good bit today, he loves singing to the female, right next to her head. He still won't let me come close to him. I am clipping his wings either tonight or tomorrow. When I hold her he will fly around and do a circle around me and then land back on his cage. He is very aggressive. As soon as I get his wings clipped I am going to take him into a separate room alone for about 15 mins a few times a day to tame him. Hopefully that will help.

I didn't get to take her in the shower today because I was being rushed but I did spray them with water when they were out of the cage. She liked it a lot, she looked down and spread her wings out and let me spray her for a little bit. He didn't do what she did at all, he ran away from the water instead. It would just bead up on there feathers. How wet should I get them?

Charlie my quaker get sopping wet, lol he loves it. With the water spray if you can just spray it in the air above him and let it softly land on him until he gets used to it, if he still freaks out just stop and try again another time.
If you want her let her out just let her out, again Charlie does this hoping I will let him out but if I am cleaning or cooking then I wont let him out and he just gives up pacing after a while

As far as the male goes just give him time, I feel he will get used to you soon and be friendly, just when he is quiet have a nice chat with him through the cage. I would try and separate them a bit during the day, maybe buy another cage?
