New in Portland
I wanted to say hi, just joined. I'm Hannah, I live in Portland, Oregon and just bought my first Lovebird. I'm having a TON of fun, and LOVE already!!!!!

Welcome, I am in st helens, not to far from portland, I go there all the time. Especailly to bird hut. Got a few other members here form oregon to!

Welcome! I use to have a Peach Face Love Bird. He lived to be 21 years old. He was a great bird. I now have a Pacific Blue Parrotlet. He is also a great bird and very affectionate.

Thanks all for the welcome! And I'd love to connect with you in St Helen's and have a friend who loves birds in this new city/state I'm in!
I got my baby at Bird Hut.
I am used to more options in Texas, never bought from a 'pet store' before, but clearly they are good folks and my bird is healthy and happy! Great prices on cages too!

HI, hannah. I'm in the Fairview. just east of portland. Welcome. I'm also a new member and I think you will find this site very informative and supportive. I'm hooked already. I am also a "regular" at Bird Hut. They are wonderful people and will always help you in anyway they can. They even gave me a BIG warning about cockatoos before I bought my first one so I wasn't brodsided when all hell broke loose in the house. And now I have two. LOL, LOL. I have never had a love bird (my cats would eat them) but I've heard they are quite little sweeties. I am a big bird person (they chase the cats, lol, lol). I have Cockatoos. Once again...Welcome. Will look forward to hearing how you are doing with your new Fid (Feathered kid).
