New in NJ

Hello all my name is Sam. I am 28 and live at the shore in NJ. I have two birds a Goffins and a Cockatiel. I started reading this page since my Goffin's has been in the hospital on Sat. He almost did not make it and I was a mess. We are not out of the water yet but doing much better. Hope to be spending much more time here writing about Bosco. I also have a cockatiel named Ty. He is still a baby but doing well. I love them both so much it is amazing. I was destroyed when faced living without my baby boy. I just hope he will be ok!

Me and Bosco in the hospital yesterday

This was my third visit in a row yesterday the hospital is 1.5 hours each way so I was exhausted and a mess. We thought he had kidney failure bc his phosphorus levels were 40 and 10 is high. So I thought I may of had to put him down if the blood work continued to come back bad. It looked much better though, THANK GOD!

Hi Sam from NJ
I am so glad your baby boy is doing better. What vet are you using?
what part of NJ are you from?
I live in Little Egg Harbor and currently am owned by a mobrella cockatoo, a harlequin macaw and a normal grey cockatiel.
Hope to chat soon,
Diane
