Hi & welcome.

There are a few finch people here from time to time.

Are you going to continue breeding your finches?
What's your cage set up like?
Could you post some photos of your birds. Everyone likes the photo part.

Hello, sorry about that just came on line,I will try to get some photos going,at present I don't think I will continue breeding,I want to give the hen a long rest, also my space is very limited with these 8-birds,I have to think about building a bigger cage, I had to remove several eggs to prevent these birds from having more babies, societies are very prolific breeders.

Hee hee.....should have warned you! My finches now have a boys' dorm and a girls' dorm. If you take away the eggs, they may just keep laying, so may be better to take them out one or two at a time and scramble or freeze them, then put them back. Don't suppose you want to trade some societies for some zebras (think zebras are even more prolific). Welcome to the flock!!
