Hello from near Toronto, Ontario

Hi

I am new to this site and just found it tonight. Glad to know it is here. I am the owner of a 2 year cockatiel, Lucky and have just purchased a Timneh African Grey. She is not home yet and I am waiting very anxiously for her arrival. The breeder had her dates mixed up so had to wait an extra few weeks. He just called tonight and said she is starting to eat pellets on her own. He claims I should have her by next weekend. I hope so.

I already have her cage and toys and just waiting for her. We had her DNA test but no results back yet. He thinks she is a girl and so do we. My son has already named her Sammy so the name works either way. I love the name too!! I hope to get lots of information from this site going forward.

I do have a question if someone can help. I wanted to add their photos but can't seem to figure out how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!!! Actually I think I have downloaded photos okay. What I wanted to know was how to get your bird photo to show when you reply to a message; such as your Parrot is showing now (bb100). I can't figure this out. On that note I cannot figure out how to edit my profile. Possibly the same section???

Welcome! Can't wait to see Sammy. Click on user CP and you can modify your signature, profile, etc.

If you mean for the bird to show up in the persons avatar, you need to be a BirdBoard Supporter.

You can however have images in your signature, but you must be sure that the box is marked to show your signature, and you put the image in your signature correctly.
