New from Italy with Senegal

Greetings, we live in Torino and have a new Senegal one year old boy, named You-You. He is a delightful cuddly fluff ball, very cheerful personality with only ocassionally a "terrible 2" moment, and does not want to eat his vegetables, or much fruit other than apples, pears, and melons. I am now experimenting with soaking pellets in apple juice. He is very quiet, though has started to chitter chatter quietly to himself and make various pops and squeaks. He does say "You-You" when he wants attention. This is a great forum!

Welcome to you and You-You. Also, being owned by a Sennie, I know how much fun they are to have around. Hope you enjoy it here and I look forward to sharing our birding experiences.

Hi and welcome. Judging from my Sennie, Lukey, You-You won't be quiet for long! I mean that in a good way. Have fun!

Parronthood fills our world with all sorts of new words. I know you have a great fid that was probably an adorable faby. Just beware though, you want to be a guiding parront or you may end up with a wild frat on your hands.

Now for translations:
Fid = feathered kid
Faby = feathered baby
Frat = feathered brat
Parront = parrot parent

I hope this helps with your understanding. You'll soon be using these terms regularly.
