Greetings from Northern VA!

Greetings all!

I have been lurking for a while, and finally decided to sign up.

I've been a bird owner my whole life (24 years), and currently I have a 24 year old male cockatiel, who my dad got a month before I was born.

I've also owned lovebirds, and other cockatiels.

I have found a breeder in the area I really like, and hopefully soon a male baby green pacific parrotlet will be available (they just hatched), so then I will also have a parrotlet :)

Looking forward to reading and learning on this board!

Edited to add- As well as a bird enthusiast, I also have 2 horses, a black lab, a 27 lb fat cat, and several freshwater fish.

how might it be, to have a bird ones own age? that bird must know you very well, he witnessed your whole life, the good, the bad, the happy, the sad.
