Hello from columbus, Ohio

Hi everybody! My name is Robin and I am a proud owner of Pete the peachfaced lovebird. I had owned lovebirds before but never have I had one like Pete. He certainly is the man of the house and doesn't let me forget it. I've never seen so much attitude in only 40 grams! He's not all sass though. He likes to wake me up in the morning so I can get him out of his cage and he can crawl into bed with me (don't worry fellow bird owners, he sleeps on the pillow with his head under my nose. There's not way I can roll over and squish him. He's my favorite little guy and he's such a blast. Sadly, my winged best friend has PBFD (beak and feather disease) which makes him sick all of the time and he is now nearly bald. It breaks my heart to see him get sicker every day but I am doing my best to prolong and improve his life because he certainly is very special.

I'm from Columbus originally. Now me and my happy B&G Harley and my CAG Foxy live in Sunny Sarasota Florida! My Harley likes to sleep on my pillow in the morning too. Nice to know I'm not the only one who's bird likes to sleep with them. I am truly sorry your little fellow has PBFD. It makes every day you spend with him all the more special.
