Hello from LA

Hello, everyone. Just saying 'hi' on behalf of my humans. I'm Petey and my pal is Birdi. We're year-old cockatiels. We don't live in our cage, instead we have the freedom of our human's bigger cage. They put food and water for us in various places. We, in turn, leave poop for them. Can't understand why they keep cleaning it up, though. Humans...go figure. I'm really outgoing and curious about everything. I love love to sit on my humans - any part of them is fine by me. My pal is shy. She doesn't have much curiosity. She does like to sit on the humans sometimes, though. We are absolutely in love with human food. It tasts yummy! But we eat our special mixed bird food, though...out humans make us. Really, it's not so bad, but we prefer the human kind.

Well, that's all for now, I guess. I gotta go see what the humans are up to and see if I can get some attention... bye for now. :aiwebs_02

Hello Petey, Birdi and Loclynn....WELCOME to BB..
You guys sound like my 2 spoilt fids (feathered kids) Sunny a sunconure and Buddy a Quaker...They too are free in a nice big bird room when I am not home and free in the Bird room family room and kitchen areas when I am home , they only sleep in their cages or are in them for their own safety if we are out for a whole day (which is just about NEVER)..I am Marion aka Majj my hubby Joe and I run our own business and I work from a home office at times to suit myself , so I have plenty of time with my boys ...we have 3 adult kids and 2 fur babies Frosty a cat and Zeus a Samoyed ..we live in New South Wales ..the east coast of Oz..
Love to see some pictures of you come check out the other forums and chat on the Bird Board tell us all about your flock, feathered , human and furry....I usually post in the conure and Quaker forums but read the messages in The Lounge and The Bird Board also...
