Lol I even had a sexing certificate when i bought beetle but i still didnt trust myself lol, i figured if i named her a girls name i'd somehow jinx her and turn her into a boy LOL! We also had a female galah named charlie which was ok but we had to shorten it from charlie boy to just charlie, also a female duck called napoleon and then there's poor daisy...boy lol.

I'm sorry I missed the Bulli Bird Show. I would really have liked to go. I am off to Toowoomba in 2 weeks time to a bird show and I also have one in my home town in June. I have always wanted to free fly my birds, but I don't know that my blue bonnet would be quite the willing partner. I also have ringnecks and about another 50 odd finches and small parrots like scarletts and bourkes; and I also have bigger parrots like princess, rosella. I have pin-pointed my location on the map.

Thanks for the welcome. It is nice to be back. Grafton not too far away from here. I have an external hard drive attached to my computer with over 30gb of photos on it. I have to go through all of that and I will get some photos and upload them, you will just have to bear with me, but I will get to it. The birds take up most of my time. If I am not cleaning, feeding or watering them, I tend to just sit and watch them, they are my greatest time wasters. But what a way to waste time! Because I live at Copeton Dam, I also spend hours photographing the wild birds as well. Too much to do with my birds, and too little time to do it all in.

Lol, yeah mum lives at Wooli about 40 mins from grafton (near the beach). My cousins sometimes go to copeton dam. I'll be down with my two critters for a week in june. Might have to make a trip out to copeton (havent been there for so long). Show the boyfriend the dam. Argh im thinking about grafton too much now i want a pie! Your birds sound great! When's the bird show in june? If it's on while i'm down there then i might have to go have a look. My mum and I are making an appointment to see a guy in grafton about some pearly conures, can't wait.

Hello meandem,

It would have been great to have had there. Maybe next year?

Sounds like you have quite the flock!

Cheers,

Bulli
