Hey everyone!
First I would like to say: awesome board!!

My name's Tiffany and I'm a new WB caique mom as of Saturday!
Her name's Bindi McHoppin and she's absolutely wonderful!

I adopted her from a lady here in California. The lady rescued Bindi and her cagemate but they just hit sexual maturity (about 3 years old) and Bindi started getting aggressive and territorial and bit the lady a couple of times. She has 3 small kids so she didn't want them to handle her and she became what the lady called "semi-tame"

I brought her home and although she did take a nice chunk out of my thumb, she has surprisingly warmed up and sweetened up these past 3 days. She didn't need adjustment to her new home: she acts as though she's lived here forever.

She has just begun to let me give her scritches (she'll roll her head around to let me know where she wants me to scratch). She's also slowly allowing me to pet her back.

Definite progress!

I hope to get to know you guys and possibly learn a bit more!
