Hi Everybody!
Hi everyone - I new to bird board and wanted to say hello to everyone. I am a small hobby breeder and am currently breeding Indian Ringnecks and Cockatiels. In the next few months I do plan to add 2 more pairs to my flock. I also plan to expand my hobby with more species once I get a larger place and will have more space.
At the moment my Ringneck breeders are taking a short break and my cockatiels are currently on eggs, so I hope to share some baby stories and pictures with you all. On top of birds, I also have a wonderful and dog and own a horse who I adore. The dog is an almost 4 year old female poodle and the horse is a wonderful 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding. I have had the horse for 5 years and he did race - he was right off the track, so we have been through a lot of training together. He has also had his share of injuries over the past 5 years that I have brought him back from. Needless to say he is my baby and will have a forever home with me. About 6 months ago I had a wonderful Congo grey that I just loved - sadly she flew away and never returned. I was never able to find her and I just pray that she found another family. It has been tough getting over the loss of her, but I am finally ready and will be getting another Congo grey soon. Yippie!!! Anyway, enough with the babbling on my part - I sometimes tend to do that. I hope to chat with you all and learn about all of your birds. |

Welcome to the Board. I am new too. I'm sorry about your Grey. That has to be tough. I have a nine month old Hahns Macaw. He is a great little guy. I expect to adding a Grey to the flock in the near future.

Another new person!
I have been lurking and have asked a few questions and done a LOT of research everywhere. I am now committed to getting my first Quaker Parrot. He will be here about mid-June and I am very, very excited and anxious to meet him.
I have trained a variety of animals in my life and look forward to teaching "Flip" as much as he can learn. By the way. My husband named him "Flip the Bird". Rude but cute? |
