Hi,
My name is Angelia and I live in Ohio. I have a 2 year old Blue Front named BO. I have had him since he was 3 months old. He really is a character. He loves being upside down or on his back. He will let me put my hands all over him. He like for us to play wrestle. Where he is in my hand and on his back and I go after his beak with the other hand. He just laughs at this, of course if we don't keep his beak trimmed it can be a little painful. He doesn't talk much (yet, I hope) he says Hi or Hello Bo, he can say step up, and he can call my youngest daughter Courtney. He likes to laugh. He is on Zupreem fruit flaored plets and a mix of fresh vegtables and fruit. I have been reading here for about 2 weeks. I tried the bean mix on Bo and he really liked all the beans, not so much any of the other things in it. But I keep trying. Bo eats with us sometimes as well, I think his favorite dish is shepards pie. Bo was born in Michigan, but we recently moved to Ohio. He has adjusted real well to a new house. I am looking to get another older zon in August (after we come back from vacation in July). I would like a double yellow head but it seems they are few and far between. Does anyone know of websites to keep an eye on for birds. I already watch here, Kijiji, Birdmart, Hoobly and Upatsix. If you know of any others please let me know. I would like an older zon instead of a baby. I have checked the Ohio rescues, but still no luck and they few places I found in Ohio are not close enough for me to be able to take the classes they require or to help out in the rescue. Would be a 3 hour drive both ways.
I will post more questions about adding a bird to your family later as I think of them. Thanks for a great board, there is always something new to learn here.

you and Bo sound very happy! my birds LOVE shepherds pie as well....me too....mmmmm.

as for the Zon....hmmm. perhaps this website its for breeders throughout US
