Hello from Phoenix, AZ

Hello everyone. I have always been an animal lover but I'm just now begining to unlock the wonderful world of birds. Currently I have one wounded rock dove I'm trying to nurse back to health, but he/she(I don't know how to tell the difference yet)has captivated me so much I have begun to study all things bird related.

i too, lets say, was "wooed" over to the bird world by first taking an interest in the "outside" birds. about 3 years ago i put up some feeders in my yard, bought a bird book and started documenting all the different birds that came to my feeders. i just love sitting out on my porch and watching them.

then last year i got my first "domesticated" bird and am so happy!
