New from Colorado
Hello,
I have been thinking about getting a bird and was lucky enough to find this board. I've been lurking for a while and have found so much useful information. I hope to be able to get lots of questions answered here but first wanted to say "Hello". |

Welcome to the Board. I'm new to it too and it is a good place to find out a lot of information. I had parakeets and cockatiels in the past. I currently have a very spoiled Hahns Macaw. He is mostly a good little guy. What kind of bird are you thinking about getting?

Thanks for the nice welcome.
I see others from CO. Thats nice. I was first thinking about a Parrotlet. Then one person said they arnt good at all and get mean. Then someone else said that wasnt true. So......she then said black capped conures were very sweet birds. what do you all think? |

Welcome, and just a heads up..people are extremely bias about their birds..even i can be. I think parrotlets are cute but dont know too much about them as we cant get them here in australia...I have heard they can be a bit nippy though. Lineolated parrot I have heard are really cute and about the same size as a parrotlet if thats what size you're after? But if you want a parrotlet just read all you can on them and try see if you can handle some to make sure you're ok with them.
