Ann, friend to 'Sassie' Sun Conure

Became a member a few days ago.
Just thought I would say Hello to everyone.
Sassie is my first bird, she is ten years old and
has been with me four years. I am her third owner. She is the
sweetest little thing smart and clever and I love her dearly!!
I almost lost her to peritonitis a few weeks ago. Thanks to
my really great aviary vet she is fully recovered now and
I am trying very hard to teach her to eat a pelleted diet so
she gets enough protein and calcium so she can lay healthy
eggs and SHE will stay healthy. SHE is so stubborn.
She has only been fed seeds, nuts and people food, I hope I
can change her mind.
