Hi From Chilli and Jan In Florida

Hi,
I am sorry that I posted in the advice section before this one, but needed advice right off and did not see this.

We are new to the board. Chilli is my 14 year old, female blue front Amazon parrot. I have had her about 10 years now. She is very sweet, does not hardly ever make loud squaking noises and talks and chatters to herself and to me very sweetly. Her favorite things to say are "blah blah blah", and "apple" (which she says for any food), which she says in varying tones of voice, depending on how she wants to express herself. When they took her to surgery last year you could hear her all the way down the hallway going BLAH BLAH BLAH....even the vet laughed.

She had a benign eye mass removed from her 3rd eyelid last year and that went well but she got a reaction to the doxycycline shot and almost died and was in incubator for a week.

She is such a sweet girl and I love her very much. She has a yeast infection now but hopefully she will be on the mend soon with her meds she got yesterday.
