Salutations!
Hello Everyone,
Well I was a member of the board before but we ran into some computer issues and I was offline for awhile so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. My name is Beth and I am just outside of Phoenix Arizona. I share the house with my Husband Steve who also goes by the nickname "Bird tree #2" and "Guy whose paycheck pays for bird toys." We have two young daughters, a couple of cats, a mastiff and a hamster. The feathered flock consists of the following. Phoebe: Female Solomon Island eclectus. She's a Momma's bird and answers to the names "Fi", "Pheebs" and "Crimson Terror." Rafael: Male Vos Eclectus, he's really anyone's bird he's not fussy. He answers to "Rafe", "Green Goblin", and "Pheebs Bird". Omelette: Male Miligold macaw, without a doubt Dad's bird. He answers to "Omi" and "Super Chicken" he was our first macaw and got the name Omelette because he's such a brat that sometimes he shoulda been an omelette. Quiche: Female Greenwing macaw, without a doubt a Momma's bird. She is the baby of the family at less than a year old. She ended up being "Quiche" because the other macaw had an egg based name. Millicent: Female Congo African grey, anyone's bird. She's an absolute sweet heart but has some physical handicaps. Meringue: Female Blue & Gold, so far a Momma's bird. She's the newest member of our flock and just came to live with us a couple days ago. You can find pictures of everyone here: Flock Photographs I am looking forward to getting reacquainted with everyone! ~Beth |
