Hi! My name is Lauren. I am from Akron, Ohio. I have a 7 month old male Red Sided Eclectus that I absolutely love!!

I found this site because I am hoping to purchase or adopt another bird, and I found an ad in my local paper. I emailed the person, and thought the email was shady. I found a forum on this site and from it I learned that this person is a scammer. Thanks to all of you bird lovers who take the time to help others out in situations like that, and in all other areas of bird care!!

I am excited to be part of your community and to continue to learn from you all!!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Yep theres a scam posted somewhere all the time. If you can't see the bird before buying it as much as your heart wants to you must walk away from it.

By the way any of your ekkie would make alot of us really happy! We love pics!!

Here is my absolute favorite picture of Luigi. The other one is of me with Weegie Weege. (Luigi's nick-name that he just loves to say over and over and over!)
