Depression cure-cockatoos
Hi Everybody, my name is Cathy (Crazy Granny). I am from Nashville, TN and have really had to search to find my babies. Seems that there aren't many around here. There is a caged bird club in town, but I haven't been there yet. I have had parrotletts,( Desi & Lucy) for a long time and they are precious. They are inseperable, even swinging on the same swing. If one is out of the cage, the other calls him back. So cute.
Then, a month ago, I decided I was ready for a big bird. HAHAHA. Whatever! I thought I did my research on the net and thru questioning. This yound lady, 1 yr old, is the worst and best thing ever. She's already broken my cell phone, picked her favorite throw pillow, and is at my side as long as I'll let her. She stayed with my daughter for a few weeks (I was there ,too) while I was waiting for a new home. There were 3 grandkids and lots of yound adult visitors. When it got loud, she chimed right in. If everyone left the room, she let us know. My daughter talks on the phone so much that Clarice now has phone conversations in a low mumble. What a gal! Now we are in our new home and she only yells when I leave the house. I hear her as soon as my door shuts. When I'm here, she is interacting with me from the cagetop or on my couch. Who needs anti-depressants when you have a cockatoo!
