Hello everyone,

Nice to be here. I have a red lory. He/She is 3 yrs old. My adorable baby My lory is not very friendly when other people are around besides me or my hubby..he gets really agressive and just wants to bite them which is not good. my bird is not use to change either.. if you move his cage to another . room it'll take him some time to adjust.. or will just stay in one spot . He gets so nervous that he doesn't even eat that much. I am afraid now cuz we are going on vacation for 5 days and we have to leave him at a pet sitter. I know he won't react very well to that.. or maybe he will.. does anyone have any birds that act the same way as my bird? Can anyone give me advise in what to do?

Hello fellow cannuck! Welcome to the forum.... I don't have much advice for you... i have never had much problem (knock on wood) with socialization... my fids have done well in that department so far.... lots of knowledgable people here though.. hope one of them can help you.
