guy's gal severe macaw
I'm new to birdboard. I have been adopted by a 5 yr old severe macaw named Guy. :eusa_clap . I've had him for 6 months now and everyday seems to be different and new. At first he only liked my husband and now he seems to be warming up to me ( at least he's not going for blood any more ). He will let me pick him up and do a few tricks, so long as he's in the mood and he will give me kisses while I hold him. He has a pretty good vocabulary which has been both a blessing and a curse. He is still a bit nippy and VERY protective of his tree.
If anyone has any suggestions on training and care I'd love some help and input.
