Hello All,
I am new to this board and thought I would introduce myself as my first post . I saw just surfing the web (my nightly ritual) looking at different bird sites and I came across this forum - I had a look around and what a lovely forum this seems to be with a wonderful group of people here. I hope to get to meet and chat with you all.

To introduce myself - my name is Meredith as the screen name says and I am living in Maryland, but praying and hoping to change that to Kentucky one of these days. I am 24 (25 in Aug.) years old and live alone except for my fids and dogs.

Now one with my animals - since this is a bird forum I guess it would only be right to start with my birds - to start I had a wonderful Congo grey about a year ago who I sadly had to rehome. My job was keeping me away from my home to much and I just had no time for him - it was the best thing. I miss him so much, but he is in an excellent home. I quit that job and now work from home so have tons of time. I also do some breeding - I am a hobby breeder and breed for the joy of raising the babies, plus I really have limited space, so don't have the room to be a big time breeder. I used to breed ringneck, but have recently stopped with them, I have sold just about all my pairs, so soon I will be ringneck free. I am also breeding Cockatiels which are currently on eggs and due to start hatching in around 10 days or so. With the loss of my ringnecks I am hoping to add another pair of cockatiels possibly or something else, or maybe both. Time will only tell!!! I also am getting a female Redsided Eclectus that will be shipped to me this weekend.

I also have a wonderful Toy poodle who will be 4 years old next month, she is the life of my house. I also have 2 horses who I board at a wonderful farm about 10 minutes from my home.

Hmm, I think that's about it - sorry this got kind of long, I can sometimes get carried away when I am writing and end up writing way to much. I hope to meet you all and your fids and chat with you all in the near future.
