Rosa and I are happy to meet you!
Hello ya'll! I am so happy to have found this site! I am new to the bird world. I have a female eclectus (or EKKIE, as I see you call them) that came to me a year ago and we became fast friends. Rosa is 5 years old and is a Vosmeri (sp?) who has an amazing personality. I look forward to talking to you and learning more about this foreign world.

My Eclectus Parrot Rosa is the most amazing thing that has happened to me. However, this is the first bird I have ever owned and have many questions periodically. Hopefully, joining this site will help me get through my confused times.

Welcome. I too have a female Ekkie, a hybrid RS/Grand. She's very beautiful, very willful and my first of many parrots. They are awfully smart, so be prepared. I have actually witnessed my bird tie 2 knots on different occasions.
