Talking Hello from DC!

Hey all, Just visiting the boards, nice to meet you all!
I'm in the Washington DC area and have a very special lil Budgie.
He's a noisemaker and hates going to sleep, he'll even resort to hanging onto the bars of his cage door and slipping his head through his feet, twisting his body backwards and barking ferociously. :aiwebs_01 Azi certainly has me trained; I even make sure to wear his favorite (softest) shirt when I finally let him out for a bit before bed.
I do have a question though, he seems prone to biting... not so much at people but sometimes he gets so caught up pulling threads on clothes, biting jewelry and playing tug of war like a puppy he doesn't realize the strength of his own little beak. I've heard various opinions on a 'biting stage' for young birds and was hoping to find out this was normal and hopefully figure out how long it will last. My guess is he's about 5 months old based on the lines on his head, his cere color and size.
